Evaluating Resources Disqualified from an Agreement

If your updates change the resource type (i.e. resource goes from a Type 1 to a Type 2), then your resource no longer matches what is on your agreement and it is disqualified from your agreement.

Your changes will NOT be applied to the agreement automatically, but you will need to discuss the disqualification with your Contracting Officer to determine if a modification should be issued.

IMPORTANT If you are called to an incident and you have not addressed the disqualification of your resource, then your resource will not match what is on the agreement and your resource will not be used.

If a modification is issued while a resource is disqualified, and the modification is a type of modification that normally allows you to apply changes to your resources to the agreement (i.e. standard, rollover, etc.), then your only options with the modification for the disqualified resource will be to withdraw the resource from the agreement or replace the disqualified resource with a resource that is the same type as what is on the agreement. However, if a Resource Type Correction modification is issued, then you may be able to replace your resource that is on the existing agreement with a different resource type, but must be the same VIN and same resource group, but different category type.

If you do not wish to withdraw or replace the disqualified resource, then you need to discuss the disqualification with your Contracting Officer before you respond to the modification. You may be able to ask for a Resource Type Correction modification.

If you change your resource back to the same type that it is on the agreement, then you will get a message telling you that your resource is re-qualified for the agreement. If you see this message, then no further action is required by you.

If you change your resource back to the same type that it is on the agreement, but you have made other changes to the resource, your resource will be re-qualified for the agreement, but the other changes will require a modification in order to apply those changes to the agreement.
